When Liza was a Red Menace!

 Early training...

 Rehearsing with Bob Dishy for
Flora, the Red Menace...
1965.

 Flora was Liza's Broadway debut,
at the age of 19...
She auditioned for Kander and Ebb when she was 17.
They instantly fell in love with her.
It took director George Abbott a little longer.

 The show lasted 87 performances...

...just long enough for Liza to be nominated for
and win the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Musical.
(Pictured here with Walter Matthau, Irene Worth, and Zero Mostel)
