Sunday Dames!

Eartha "Wants To Be Evil" Kitt...
from her 1954 album, "That Bad Eartha".
In that dress, she can be anything she wants, right?

Elaine Stritch, a siren with a siren,
singing on her 1959 album "Stritch"...
we'll hear "That's The Beginning Of The End."

 Carol Burnett (above with Steve),
who performed in the 1985 Lincoln Center concert version
of Stephen Sondheim's Follies:
"I'm Still Here".
Carol went on to perform in his revue,
"Putting It Together".

 Klea Blackhurst
renders "Dear Mr. Gershwin" from Radio Gals, below.
I don't know if the photo below is from the
original production or not,
but I wanted to give you a feel for that
Mark Hardwicke/Mike Craver show.
Klea did a bang-up job in 2001 in her one-woman show,
"Everything The Traffic Will Allow", a tribute to Ethel Merman.
Get the CD if you can!

And of course, Helen Kane,
perhaps contemplating if she really
wants "...to be bad."
Born Helen Clare Schroeder in the Bronx,
she began her performing career early.
By 15, it was the Orpheum Circuit for her,
performing in a Marx Brothers show called
"On The Balcony".
