Playlist for Oct. 27, 2019: A Hunk A Burning Barbecue

I am back and almost functioning! Huzzah! My weekend trip to Memphis provided me with plenty O' Peabody Duck key chains, A. Schwab snarky fridge magnets, and a blanket of BBQ which I am presently wearing to every function. (This must change, unless I want Thanksgiving and Christmas comforters ON TOP of it.) Yes, those Memphians (Memphistians?) know how to ladle out the hot sauce and pull that pork!

 Central BBQ style...

plus Elvis Pancakes at Automatic Slims!

But back to Broadway I go. And also back to raising money for the Jazz 90.1 coffers! We are smack dab in the middle of our Fall Pledge Drive, with just "this much more" to raise; then we can go back to playing 17 more songs per hour and back to talking about ourselves, not begging from you. That would be nicer for everybody. So while the Broadway spins, click on/call out...to me or whoever is manning (womanning) the phones at the dear old station.

Nope, our station isn't THIS old school.
(Above pic thanks to Sun Studio!)

To help you "dial" (dial?), we've got those boys from Jersey, a girl from the Show, Sandra Dee, some very soft shoes, and lots of zzzzzip! I'll be on an ice cube and tooth pick diet by Sunday, so expect a hangry Kim, exhorting you to donate. But hopefully all this Broadway will soften my perspective and I'll answer your calls with aplomb.

Listen. Give. Enjoy. :)
