Some REAL favorites of mine this Sunday! A young Liza from Flora the Red Menace, Phyllis Newman's "I Was A Shoe-In" from Subways are for Sleeping, and an epic "Some Enchanted Evening" from South Pacific. Then there's a tribute to coffee...a trio of caffeine-based odes, from calm and jazzy to over-the-top desperate for a cup! That last one, of course, from How to Succeed and Charles Nelson Reilly...whatta guy. Plus an Audra McDonald number, "Baltimore," which technically isn't from a Broadway show, but its writers are working on it!
Boffo ending from Curtains...and "What Kind of Man?"....hope you're listening!
