Show Biz: There's No Business Like It

Debra Monk as Producer Carmen Bernstein,
and "It's A Business" from Curtains (2007), with music by
John Kander and Fred Ebb.
Fred passed away before the show could be completed,
so Rupert Holmes (Drood, The Pina Colada Song!)
stepped in to help.

Another song for our "Show Biz" set,
"You Gotta Have A Gimmick"
from Gypsy, the 1962 movie...
From left, Tessie Tura, Mazeppa, and Electra,
played by Betty Bruce, Faith Dane (reprising her role in the
Broadway production) and Roxanne Arlen.

The Glorious Ones (2007), with music by Stephen Flaherty
and Lynn Ahrens,
an off-Broadway Comedia D'ell Arte musical,
with Julyana Soelistyo, John Kassir, Jeremy Webb,
Marc Kudisch and David Patrick Kelly.
Marc played Trevor Graydon III in
Thoroughly Modern Millie opposite Sutton Foster,
and was most recently seen on House of Cards,
as Senator Henry Mitchell...he gets around!
We'll hear "I Was Here."
 George Hearn
and "I Am What I Am"
from Jerry Herman's La Cage Aux Folles.

And 2 from 42nd Street...
above with Jerry Orbach as Julian Marsh,
the director we love to hate, and Wanda Richert,
and below Lee Roy Reems and Wanda.
All Singing, All Dancing, All Broadway.
