Playlist for Sunday, March 30, 2014: Pretty...Classy!

2 On the Aisle goes LIVE again this Sunday...with some classic 42nd Street to start us off.  I've always loved Jerry Orbach's musical side; the Lenny Briscoe facet never did anything for me, to tell the truth.  I've also included a mini-theme of Stephen Sondheim, who did several songs with the word "pretty" in them (guess he liked that brittle little concept...not beautiful, not wondrous, but something smaller in scale.  Or was it just because it rhymed with stuff like pity and gritty and...). ANYWAY, we slide into Early in the Mornin', straight from Five Guys Named Moe, that Louis Jordan song that I love, sung here by Jerry Dixon and Your Feet's Too Big, compliments of Ain't Misbehavin's Ken Page ("Your pedal extremities are obnoxious!).  Turn that duo up!

Hope you can tune in...
