Playlist For September 8, 2019: Crazy, Coffee, and Cole

Sitting here waiting for the plumber. Yup, I have a leak that has probably gone on for 6 months to a year (yes, I'm really UP on stuff like this!), dripping into my (cave-like, Amontillado-casked, moss-and-mold-growing) unfinished basement. I feel bad that I'm such a lousy home owner, but hey! I got a life, and it ain't spent eye-balling the cellar, okay? In fact, I'm neglecting all my "deplorables" so much, that when I die, just raze the damn place. Oh, and FYI, and before all the razing, the playlist for my memorial is in RhythmBox under "Asta La Vista, Baby!" :) Play it loud.

Meanwhile, Broadway. Like several viral entities in my basement, Tootsie is growing on me. I'm getting "into it"...and man, it is just the antithesis of Mr. Yazbek's "Visit" of last year.  An over the top, in your face, Full Monty style Yazbekian musical, but I'm liking it! So we'll do a ton of that show on Sunday.
PLUS a Cole Porter plethora: I'm thinkin' the eccentric, rarely played Porter, just to switch things up. PLUS Crazy. PLUS Coffee. Well, those last 2 things go together in this house.

(BTW, around here everybody says "I'm going down cellar." What's up with that? NOBODY says "I'm going down basement." I mean, that would just be weird.)

Mr. Plumber has arrived. Nice that he has blue eyes. And he evidently works out. Maybe this leak patrol thing has its advantages.
